The Austrian Association for Pattern Recognition (OAGM) is the Austrian chapter of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR) and currently consists of approximately 200 individual members. Among them are researchers of all major pattern recognition groups in Austria.

The OAGM organises an annual workshop to promote exchange between members. Since 2024 a joint symposium with the Austrian Society for Artificial Intelligence (ASAI) and the Austrian Society of Measurement, Automation and Robot Technologies (GMAR) is done: AIRoV – Austrian Symposium on AI, Robotics, and Vision. The former OAGM workshop is now part of AIRoV as the Applied Vision (AV) workshop.
